So we’re just over half way through the month and I thought I’d dedicate a blog post to a little thang I got going on over on Instagram. It’s called GOOD STUFF SEPTEMBER. (I did mention this briefly in my last blog post and on my socials, but just in case you missed it.)

A few weeks back I was reading all the things, listening to 'influencers' who don't necessarily know what they're talking about, and following a pretty negative discourse in regards to the virus that shall not be named. It was a bit shit, and I decided I must take action to remedy the situation.

So given most of what I was consuming was via social media, I thought why not flip the script and use my little space on the web to spread some positivity instead. Turns out, it’s really bloody lovely, and it makes me smile whenever I see the #goodstuffseptember hashtag being used. And that’s a vast difference to the overwhelm and frustration I'd felt prior.

It’s not all about me though; I really hope those who check in and follow along the #goodstuffseptember tag find the same joy. Which brings me to the purpose of this blog post, this is your gentle reminder that if you haven't already, you are welcome to come join the good vibes, there’s still plenty of time and everyone is welcome. I know and you know life’s not all rainbows and unicorns, but hell we can at least pretend for a few minutes right?!

Here’s the low down-

· Use the #goodstuffseptember hashtag in your Instagram captions (and stories). Using # in captions is a great way for everyone to see and experience the #goodstuff crusade.

· Good stuff can be anything from surviving a day of keeping your child alive in lockdown, getting your baby to have a nap, a good news story (we all know that’s a rarity) or resurrecting an indoor plant from a near death experience. Whatever is good for you in that moment, it may just make someone else’s day too!

· Lastly, search for the #goodstuffseptember hashtag and hit the follow button. That way you can check in when you need a dose of feel good vibes.

a glimpse at the good stuff so far this month

So let’s pull up our positive pants (pants free is completely acceptable for when you feel like flipping positivity the bird) and use our social feeds to lift each other up and find the good stuff in-between the cracks of some pretty crappy times.

Peace out homies,

xx Kara
